AMBASSADOR OF ALOHA SCHOLARSHIP
To qualify an applicant must:
- Be nominated by a high school official.
- Plan to attend an accredited 4-year college or university as a full time student.
- Have participated and intend to continue participating competitively as an amateur in the sports of swimming, surfing, paddling, kayaking or water polo and have a record of accomplishments.
- Be a resident of Hawai‘i.

ODKF SCHOLARSHIP
To qualify an applicant must:
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Plan to attend an accredited college or university as a full time student.
- Have participated and intend to continue participating competitively in the sports of canoeing, surfing, kayaking, swimming, water polo or volleyball and have a record of accomplishments.
- Be a resident of Hawai‘i.
- Minimum GPA 3.0.
SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS are awarded only once a year. Applications are accepted from November 1st to March 1st.

ATHLETIC TEAM GRANT
The purpose of this grant is to sponsor, promote and encourage participation in state, national and international amateur competitions in the sports of canoeing, surfing, kayaking, swimming, water polo and volleyball. To qualify an applicant must: 1. Resident(s) of Hawai‘i and American citizen(s).
2. Demonstrate financial need. 3. Have participated in competitive sports as an amateur and can produce a record of accomplishments. 4. Be applying for a specific upcoming event.

ATHLETIC INDIVIDUAL GRANT
The purpose of this grant is to sponsor, promote and encourage participation in state, national and international competitions in the amateur sports of canoeing, surfing, kayaking, swimming, water polo and volleyball. To qualify an applicant must: • Be a resident of Hawai‘i and an American citizen.
• Demonstrate financial need. • Have participated in and intend to continue participating in competitive sports as an amateur and can produce a record of accomplishments. • Be applying for a specific upcoming event. Grants will not be considered for: • Club dues • Local events that require only sign-up • Those with no financial need demonstrated • Age group events (National Junior and Senior levels do qualify) • Individuals applying when their team has applied or will be applying • Athletes that are “professional” i.e. have cash sponsors Priority is given to: • Olympic events • International events in which national funding is not available • Medal contenders

The purpose of this grant is to sponsor, promote and encourage participation in state, national and international competitions in the amateur sports of canoeing, surfing, kayaking, swimming, water polo and volleyball. 2. Prove that the proposed event will promote Duke’s legacy. 3. Show how ODKF will be represented at this event. 4. Be applying for a specific upcoming amateur event.
