Donations may be designated to any of seven Board Designated Funds or in the name of someone. We also accept credit card donations online and over the telephone. The Kirk Smith Special Fund, has been set up in here at the Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Foundation in Kirk's memory. Donations support Hawaii's surfers and scholar athletes. A portion of the proceeds from sales of these items goes directly to Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Foundation which provides more than $75,000 per year in grants and scholarships to Hawaii athletes. A few Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Foundation 2005 Ho'olaule'a T-shirts are still available at Duke's Waikiki Restaurant and online at e808.com. Proceeds from T-shirt sales go directly to the foundation's grants and scholarships. The T-shirts, designed by Happy Shirts, are $20 and come with the Ho'olaule'a logo on the front.
