Duke Kahanamoku united people, taught them the love of the ocean, celebrated healthy competition, and brought inspiration to all. We have made it our work to raise up his iconic example for our community to strive for the ideals he embodied as our Ambassador of Aloha. Please join us in our mission by making a donation to support young scholar-athletes and invigorate the waterman spirit across the Hawaiian islands.

Corporate sponsors are essential to the accomplishment of our mission. Your employees and customers will recognize your association with the aloha spirit of Duke Kahanamoku, focused on supporting youth scholarship and the development of ocean athletes in our island community.
You can help carry on the legacy of aloha by including us in your will, trust, retirement plan or life insurance policy. Corporate sponsorship of ODKF events such as Hawaii Waterman Hall of Fame, Duke Kahanamoku OceanFest, and Duke’s Night provides direct charitable support. Benefits associated with sponsorships vary by event. Our staff would be happy to provide a sponsorship proposal for a specific event. Please email us at info@dukefoundation.org.
A qualified charitable distribution (QCD) is a distribution of funds from your IRA (other than a SEP or SIMPLE IRA) directly to a qualified charitable organization, such as the Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Foundation. Because the gift goes directly to the charity without passing through your hands, the dollar amount of the gift may be excluded from your taxable income, with some exceptions. Please consult your tax advisor for information regarding your specific exceptions. Talk to your financial planner about making a rollover to ODKF.
To learn more about QCDs, please visit IRS.gov.
Gifts of donated business services or excess merchandise help keep our costs lower, while providing excellent visibility for local company recognition. Please contact us at info@dukefoundation.org for more information.
