Waikiki beach boy legend Rabbit Kekai is admired by surfers the world over as a groundbreaking pioneer and champion and a master paddler. Duke Kahanamoku brought Rabbit under his wing and taught him many essential waterman skills during his youth. In turn, Rabbit became a lifelong teacher, entertainer, and surfer, just as Duke was. Rabbit passed away in 2016 at the age of 95.
